The activities planned within the project "From Noise to Sound" are:

  • Short documentary film

    A short documentary film “From Noise to Sound” follows the whole process of making of the installations – form the selection of materials to the use of the sound objects. It also features interviews with project participants from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Serbia. By presenting the processes of installation making and the final performance on them, the film exemplifies how an interdisciplinary installation can make an effect on the environment.

  • Publication "From Noise to Sound"

    The publication “From Noise to Sound” presents the process of making of the installations, mutual work of all participants during the workshop and the exhibition as well as some particular moments and important milestones during the project. It contains interviews with some of the project participants with the aim to support and exemplify the project’s main objective: to tackle some of the issues of the lack of contemporary urban design in Novi Sad.

From Noise to Sound

The project "From Noise to Sound" is designed as an attempt of artists and students of art to tackle the issue of the lack of the contemporary sculpture in Novi Sad through mutual work of students and teachers from 4 countries (Serbia, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland).
